WON MOVING MEDITATION?

Timeless Meditation, Placeless Meditation

Won means circle and symbolizes the ultimate truth.

Moving Meditation is a key for health, it induces the natural healing power which human beings originally have within. Although it doesn’t have any adherence to philosophy or religion, it awakens the latent ability and pursues intrinsic matters, uniting with truth, that is, right understanding of oneself and the universe. As Moving Meditation allows us to attain peace and calmness through live movements, while sitting, standing, lying down, and walking, we can keep our original mind. Whenever we talk, do not talk, are busy or not busy, we are able to have a united and righteous mind.

Won Moving Meditation programs include Tai Chi, Qigong, Yin Yang Mudra, Buddha’s Mudra, and Warm Heart Supple Body for sitting practice and Shipsang Meditation, One Circle Meditation, and Sŏn Yoga for standing practice. The principles of Yin and Yang and Taoism are synthesized in the practice.

Helping The Community

One of the main causes of falling in seniors is a lack of physical movements, leading to lower flexibility and balance. As seniors age, they may be less energetic than before and thus less inclined to exercise. Tai Chi (Tie Chee), an ancient Chinese martial art form with slow and gently flowing movements and Qigong might be a suitable exercise option to consider. We visit senior communities such as Adult Daycare Centers, Retired apartments, or Senior Centers.

Start Moving Meditation for private or small group 

Moving Meditation is great for families, friends, sports teams/groups and even co-workers.  You can also combine these groups e.g. create a mom & daughter private yoga session with your friends. 
We can work with you directly to develop a Moving Meditation that is specific to you or your group needs.  For example, if you have limited mobility we can accommodate that and work on developing a practice that helps you address your health goals.
